Preventing Backup Exec from backing up snapshots

Hi

I'm using a PV715N connected to a PV120DLT, using Backup Exec. I recently configured ActiveArchive to automatically take snapshots in the morning and at noon. How do I prevent my backup from backing up thos snapshots? I tried excluding the \ActiveArchives folder, but it did not help.

Any idea?

Michael

Assuming you are using backup exec 9.1 and AOFO. There is a separate wizard allowing you to specify the snapshot catalogue. This preventing the snapshot from making a hidden directory in every logical drives root

Does this mean I have to update Backup Exec if I want to use snapshots AND do a real backup?!?

Thanks for the information,

Michael
