Problem with dwngrade FW on PV TL2000
Hi guys,
In specification list (for BrightStore ARCserve) noted that Tape Drive (PV TL2000) should have 74H8 FW version. I have newer 8371. I tried to downgrade FW, but recieved an error: "Invalid FW type". But at the same time i can do that for the library, I can downgrade it's version from 6.60 to 4.50. Is it possible to downgrade FW for Tape Drive?
I'm using Dell R169674 FW pack for PV TL2000. I tried both ways via web interface and ITDT. In the second case it said "invalid microcode file".

You should be able to downgrade the drive via the ITDT tool, be sure to select the proper image for the topology.. fibre, sas etc...
You should have no issues running the latest f/w w/ that unit. Not sure if CA upgrades the HCL everytime a new f/w is released by Dell.
