Problem with partition on RD1000 320GB Disk
Hello I am trying to reparition a 320GB RD1000 disk. It has one partition of 120GB and another raw partition.
I want to delete the existing partitions and partition the drive for 320 GB. It is Windows 2003 Server, and the
Partition option is grey'ed out. I tried using diskpart, but it does not see the drive, although it shows up in
diskmanager fine.
How can I partition a RD1000 320 Disk ? Short of putting it in the Microwave for 10 seconds, as i do not have a bulk eraser. :)

Hi,
Unfortunately Server 2003 diskpart does not work with removable media. If you have access to Win7 or Server 2008 R2 use the diskpart command line to clean and then re-partition.
If not, the easiest thing to do is to download a gparted live CD (search for gparted in google).
Out of curiosity.. how did you end up with multiple partitions on your RD1000 disk?
