With a data parity mismatch error, it is best to destroy the virtual disk and then create it again & restore data. When you get this error, your MD has tried to repair the virtual disk, but it is failing to repair the virtual disk. in most cases that I have seen if you don’t destroy and recreate you will get a puncture of your raid array.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Would replacing every individual physical disk help? We just don't have any other device to move the data over to. Does replacing a disk rebuild the virtual disk?
Replacing the drives will not resolve your issue as the error is not an issue with any drive. Your issue is with your data that is on the drive as it is not matching the parity like it should. You are about to have a puncture stripe and when that happens you will need to destroy the virtual disk and create it again then restore data.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
