Replacing HDD and starting over

Hi, sorry for what is probably a simple question.  I have an NX3100 using a PERC H700 controlling a RAID 5  array of 2TB SAS hard drives.  In addition, I have an MD1200 enclosure attached to the NX3100 via a PERC H800 controlling a RAID 5 array of 2TB SAS disks.  I simply want to replace all of the 2TB drives with new 4TB drives and convert both arrays to RAID 6.  I don't care about keeping any of the data currently in the RAIDs and would simply like to start over fresh.  My question is: Is it as simple as taking out the old hard drives, replacing them with the new hard drives, and reconfigure the virtual disk using the OMSA? Thanks for any help or advice you can provide.

Hello mbrooks313,

Yes you are correct.  What you need to keep in mind is that your OS raid array may not see the new space over 2TB if you were going to try to expand it.
