SCv3000 relocation
Hi,
There will be relocation of office and data center.
The current SCv3000 storage is attached with 3 unit of Dell ESXi host.
What are the procedures to bring down and bring up the storage after the relocation?
Do I still need to reconfigure the storage volume and present it to the ESXi hosts?
Any recommendations? Thanks.

The order shutdown VMs, shutdown hosts, put storage in maintenance mode, power down storage, move, power up storage, power up hosts power up VMs. https://dell.to/3aMRO2n

after power off the storage and the esx host, can i remove the sas cable?
after the relocation, and i attach back the sas cable from the storage to the esx host, should i need to re-configure the volume and present it to the esx host? Thanks.

Hello Raffles IT,
You should not have to do any reconfigure if you are just moving location.
Once you get everything moved and everything reconnected then complete these steps:
power up storage, power up hosts power up VMs

got it. will plan it accordingly. anyway, will perform a full backup of vm before the move. Thanks.
