sfu password sync

i've upgraded my 770n nas device to 2003 (re-install i should say)
and it all seems to be working fine, which has me worried/paranoid.
i installed a custom sfu.msi on my domain controllers, and am wondering if i should install sfu 3.5 now to keep my aix and windows passwords in sync

thanks

the sfu.msi installs that NFS Authentication daemon on your DC's.  This allows for NFS users on your NAS to be authenticated as a Windows domain user.  If it is working now, I would leave it alone, however upgrading to SFU 3.5 shouldn't do any harm.

The UNIX / Windows passwords are not sync'd.  They are either pulled via NIS domain, or updated via a new /etc/passwd file provided from the UNIX host.
