ULt3580 drive passes all ITDT-DCR tests fine
The drive and library both have the most recent firmware installed.
When I run anything in Yosemite backup with this tape drive, it fails and I get an error, even if I simply am running a “test device” on it.
The error is "Error 122: Unexpected operating system error".
The ytrace has this in it:
"08/03/2009 11:35:26 AM Sgd: I/O Control Failed to /dev/sg9 2-0-0-1 (Error 122: Unexpected operating system error)
08/03/2009 11:35:26 AM Sgd: Cmd: 00h Scsi Status: 00h Host status: 00h, Masked status: 00h, Driver status: 00h

08/03/2009 11:36:30 AM Sgd: Cmd: 00h Scsi Status: 00h Host status: 00h, Masked status: 00h, Driver status: 00h"
I can’t figure out what is wrong. We've had this drive for over a year and have never gotten it to work. We purchased everything straight from Dell (the server it is hooked up to and the SAS card in the server). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave
