Various types of part numbers
Hello,
Why Dell drives have various types of part numbers?
here I see five-character part numbers: https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/powervault-md3200/md32xx_36xx_supportmatrix_pub/supported-physical-disks?guid=guid-da577510-698c-4fa5-a957-2d90c246f2a4&lang=en-us but the stores have drives with P N like 400-ABCD (400-BERC, 400-BCNB and so on)
how to correlate part numbers from one type to another?

Sales part numbers depend on the country you are in. PPID numbers are not sales part numbers. Dell does not publish this information for end users. You must be Dell trained and certified to have access to the parts databases.
Dell certification and training is not free and must be updated every year.
