[W2008 R2] Hyperv V2 validation error 2950 + MD3000
Hello,
I am trying to configure my cluster with an MD3000 (two controllers one port each)
Servers are running 2008R2 and seems working fine.
I install the last MD3000 CD I could find (md3000_2_2_0_17_R294934) and updated the firmware to the last version.
After I install MDSM I configure a disk on both controllers and then it's visible on both node..
Only when I try to validate the cluster the disk detection failed everytime, even if I continue and force the cluster creation theLun won't stay up in the cluster at all..
Any idea on what is going on here ?
Thank

Hello,
Need to make sure that both hosts are in the same Host group In MDSM. If not then you need to configure them so that they are. Once that is done then try to fail over the cluster and the second host should take access of the virtual Disk. Without both servers being in the same Host Group you can present the Virtual Disk to both host but only one host will access. Here is a link to the Documentation & on page 44 & 45 it explains about both host being in the same Host group. support.dell.com/.../HOMA01EN.pdf
Let us know how it goes
