Dell Precision T7610 lost ability to boot Windows. Problem with .EFI?

I got this machine put together the other day and everything seemed fine. I was able to install Windows 10 uefi just fine. Then, suddenly the computer would freeze at the Windows splash screen and not finish booting. This behavior carried over when I would try booting different versions of the Windows 10 install .iso (mbr/gpt).

I then decided to experiment with running Windows in VM on the T7610 using Proxmox (booting in UEFI) and was able to run said Windows VM no problem at all. So what's the deal here? What is preventing Windows from booting the good old fashioned way? I can settle for running in VM in Proxmox but there is some performance overhead and a decent amount of heat generated, so I would really prefer not to run Windows in this way.

I think there may be something wrong with the .EFI files that are stored in the FS0 directory that is viewable when in the BIOS menu looking at adding or deleting boot sequences. Is there a way to set this back to factory, or place fresh .efi files in that directory?
