expanding dedicated VRAM in a precision 3420 sff tower
Hello. I was wondering if there was any way to expand the VRAM from the standard 128 to like 512 MB without having to do any kind of modifications? I have searched the BIOS and the OS but neither have options to expand the dedicated video memory from 128 mb to any bigger size.
I am currently running a Dell Precision 3420 SFF desktop with an Intel I5 7500 with 8GB of RAM and using the integrated graphics Intel 630 HD. I am not trying to run high end games on this machine. Was going to use it mostly as a media center PC. Just want to expand the VRAM so I can play 4K movies and some light gaming. I have a dedicated PC for gaming. This is just for my family to watch movies and so my daughter can play older educational games. Also, it was Windows 10 on it. Thanks!!

With 8 GB of RAM, you may increase the dedicated graphics memory up to 1024 MB via registry editor. Review this video for instruction.
