From Ubuntu to Windows 10 - Precision Tower 7910
Hi,
I received a Precision T7910. I didn't pay enough attention but I ordered Ubuntu pre-installed on it while I wanted Windows. Now, I would like to install Windows 10.
Which version of Windows 10 ship with a T7910 usually?
The configuration is a 10-core bi-processor with a M2000 graphic card. I would go for a Windows Pro version. This goes in two flavours (Standard and Workstation). I have also read that 2 kind of Windows licences are available (one for a configuration up to 4 cores, and one with 5+ cores).
Any help would be appreciated (the phone support couldn't help on this topic).

Hi sdufau,
The only Windows 10 version that Dell ships with the T7910 is Windows 10 Pro for Workstations (up to 4 cores or 4+ cores versions)
From the configuration you have you would obviously need the 4+ version.
