I have a T5820 and after upgrading to BIOS 2.39 I lost Mini-SAS Port 0. Port 1 still works, but the BIOS no longer sees Port 0. I contacted the company that i purchased it from and mine is not the first one to have this same issue. Rolling back to earlier BIOS didn't help.
@mazzinia_ It's part of the BIOS update. it's one of the steps that take place during the BIOS update. it updates the BIOS and then updates the ME firmware. I attempted to install an older version of the BIOS and it would fail at the ME Firmware update part. I guess you can't overwrite with older version. The BIOS downgraded but not the firmware. I would get an 0x00002236 error. I guess i will have to wait for Dell to release a new version and hope it fixes the issue. Luckily for now I can use port 1 for my drive.
@mazzinia_ That may be but since they are the same family you would think they are the same. I know there is a separate install for the app from the BIOS.
