Noctua on Precision T1700

Question

Hi,I try to connect a Noctua Fan (4 pins with PWM) on my precision T1700. I use an adaptator found on Amazon, The fan is ok, pwm too but I have a bios error message on start.Also try to permute the pin on the adaptator with no success.Anyone have the same issue, or an idea ?Thanks

I suspect the dell fans communicate something so that the bios can signal issues to the user, and this adaptor doesn't provide that something.

Either ignore the error, or research if there's a more intelligent/active adapter
