Precision 3431 10Gb Nic Compatibility

I have several Precision 3431 workstations that I would like to install 10gb SFP+ network cards into.  I have installed 64gb (4x16 non-ecc DDR4 2666) of compatible memory which is from other Precision 3431 workstations. These workstations all have a Xeon E-2224G processors and the BN0628 motherboard with the latest BIOS installed (1.35.0).

I have 2 Intel X510-da2 and one intel x710-da2 nics which, when installed, cause the workstations to not POST and flash 2,7 in an amber diagnostic (BIOS state 3: BIOS Post code (Old LED pattern 0011) MEM config in process. Appropriate mem modules detected but failure has occurred.)  When I remove a memory module from dimm 2, the computer posts, but shows only 2 installed dimms for 32gb memory.  Removing further memory may or may not result in the same failed POST, amber flashing 2,7.

I have tried 32gb (4x8 non-ecc DDR4 2666) with the same results, so it is not the memory capacity, simply the presence of 4 dimms installed.  Removing the M.2 SSD does not change the behavior.  PCIe gen3 x16 GPUs, PCIe gen2 quad giabit nics, and PCIe gen2 HBAs all work without issue, it is only the intel nics that cause this problem.

Through troubleshooting, it appears that the x510 and x710 network interface cards disable a channel of memory when installed.

Any help or ideas to get these network cards working is appreciated.
