Precision 3440 SFF 2x 2.5" drive caddy
Hello all:
I recently received a Precision 3440 workstation and it came with a caddy for a 3.5" drive. I would like to add a couple 2.5" drives to the system, but I cannot find the part number for the caddy that holds 2x 2.5" drives? Can anyone please provide the part number?
Thanks

The part number could be 4NW0X. That's what the barcode on the caddy displayed in the Precision 3440 SFF Workstation Owners Manual resolves to.
All I'll say is good luck trying to obtain one.

Simply go on amazon and buy a 3.5 to 2.5 adapter get one that holds 2 2.5 Hard drives/SSD like this one
Amazon.com: SSD/HDD Metal Mounting Bracket kit, Convert Any 2.5 inch Solid State Drive/HDD Into One 3.5 inch Drive Bay (2 x 2.5 HDD/SSD to 3.5 Black): Computers & Accessories
this will fit the Dell 3.5" adapter and convert you to 2 2.5 HD/SSD includes cables and power adapter. It seems my 3440 had 2 SATA connectors and power cables This should be all you need.

@joevigi
3440 SFF has 2.5 caddy will Not hold 2X 2.5 HDD or SSD.
There are no provisions to mount ANY 3.5 drive in this model AFAIKT.

2.5 is only drive listed.

You could remove optical drive and replace it with SSD caddy.

@Clintlgm
There are no bays or power of physical space for ANY 3.5 drive in this model so your solution is not going to work.

Actually, my 3440 does indeed have a 3.5" drive bay and adapter for it, This is why I suggested the 3.5" x 2.5" x 2 adapters. Also, the Service Manual also shows both the 3.5 adapters and 2.5 adapters. I actually have 2 x M2 NVME SSD install so put a 3TB spinner in the 3.5 adapters for one of my backup solutions.
Perhaps since I ordered mine without an Optical drive is the reason I got the 3.5 adapters?

Perhaps the difference is that I ordered without any hard drives or Optical drive, the Service manual shows a hard drive/optical cage so maybe that is what I have. It doesn't seem like I did anything other than Pull out the cage and put in the hard drive put the cage back In a place with the cables connected. Pages 20 -24 may be the answer? extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/viewer.html?pdfurl=https%3A%2F%2Fdl.dell.com%2Ftopicspdf%2Fprecision-3440-workstation_owners-manual2_en-us.pdf&clen=24034733&chunk=true
