Precision 7720 WHEA uncorrectable error
I have a Precision 7720 with Xeon E3 1575M v5 CPU, 32GB RAM, NVIDIA P4000 GPU and 4k screen. It dual boots to Windows 10 and Fedora 37 from different SSD. When I run Agisoft Metashape photogrammetric software under fedora it works perfectly. When I run the Windows version of Metashape under Windows10 with the same data, I get the WHEA uncorrectable error blue screen. The Prime95 and OCCt stress testing software does not fail. I have stress tested the SSD that Windows is on with no failures. When I run Prime95 on 3 or 4 cores with hyperthreading along with the Metashape software, Metashape runs successfully.
I think that the Metashape code may be causing one of the cores to heat up faster than the fan is sped up leading to an over temperature failure. Is there anyway to manually force the fans to runnat full speed?
Does anyone have any suggestions?
