Precision T1700 + onboard video not working
I everybody, just have strange probles somehow with some Dells Precision T1700 (Xeon E3). We got 6x T1700 with extra PCIe Graphic Card. Everything is working well like that. We wanted to configure thes PC´s without PCI Card and use normally the Onboard Intel Graphic. BUT, no signal available , nothing, black screen. No error Bips or whatever. Tried already BIOS reset, Bios Update, Select Intel HD Device , but nothing. Same problems with other Displays, other Cable, VGA or DP.. still the same. I replace a graphic card on the PC, then Win 10 install, It seems that Windows don´t see the onboard video chip in the components list under graphic menu.
So, has anyone any idea ?? is the GPU defekt ? but with 6 PC´s seems to be not normal. or maybe a known problem with this model !
Thanks a lot for your help !!!

The video card must be physically removed from the computer to use the integrated video.

It's not stated which E3 you have. However, many Xeon's, including the E3-1220 v3, does not have onboard graphics.

yep, have E3-1220 v3 ! motherboard has 2x DP and 1x VGA port. then why the onboard graphics would be inaktiv ? even if somehow it seems to be the more "logical" answer of my Problem
thx

I think the E3 1220 v3 doesn't have integrated graphics

Precision T1700 Spec Sheet
The T1700 has video ports because it can also take 4th gen I7, I5, and I3 CPU's. I definitely wouldn't recommend a dual core I3 in a server.
