Precision T5600 and E5-2670 heatsink question

Question

I recently acquired a Precision T5600 it came with 2 E5-2630 processors in it. I have a pair of E5-2670 processors. The heatsinks on in the machine are the smaller stock and larger stock coolers ... they are the 09YYVV and 01TD00 respectively.

My question would be is this configuration good enough to use for the E5-2670 processors. I know that with the 130w procs you would want beefy cooling but the 2670's are only 115w and this should be enough cooling for them i think.

Hi @Timyarb , I'm running dual E5-2690 @ 135w with stock coolers in my T5600. General temperature at 4X°C when idle and ~75°C on full loading. It should be fine with dual E5-2670 as well.

Thanks for the response. I actually ended up just getting aftermarket coolers for them anyway. I will be putting these under load quite often and just really wanted to keep them as cool as possible without resorting to liquid cooling. So in the end i went with a pair of Noctua NH-U9DX i4 air coolers. So far under stress test loads they remain under 70c all the time. I am quite OK with that.
