Precision Tower 5810 Upgrade my CPU and GPU ?
Hello,
I have a dell Precision Tower 5810 Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1650 v3 @ 3.50GHz
NVIDIA Quadro K4200
32 Go Ram
But recently I start feeling my computer limitation especially with 4K video editing and the new games.
So I am thinking to upgrade the CPU and the graphic card,
Can someone advise me and tell me a better compatible CPU and Graphic Card?
Thank you

The 5810 has a crossbar on the cover so tall cards do not fit.
cpu is fine 1650 will likely fix games issue

The precision 5810 cover has a cover bracket that wont allow the cover to close get a 5 pound sledge hammer
and put the cover on a rubber floor mat then smash down the crossmember over the area where the card goes with the sledge hammer. This will bend it and its going to be ugly but nobody will ever see it. tall cards do not allow the cover to close.
You put the cover on a rubber mat so that you dont scratch the paint when you smash the crossbar from the inside. Mine is squished almost dead center of the pic below.
the other issue is power supply and gpu cable
625w and 825w are not recommended for 1080 TI
625w base unit doesnt have aux pci cable
6 PIN aux power cable part number D92C9: needs to go to a DUAL 6 pin to 8 pin adapter.

Precision 5810 power supply part numbers:
YFY1V - 425W PSU
VDY4N - 685W PSU
RHHKV - 825W PSU

The 6 Core CPU that you have installed is just fine for most tasks. I would look into getting a new GPU first. Unfortunately right now GPU prices are inflated because of the current Bitcoin price spike. Miners and scalpers are snatching up all available cards.
If you can get lucky enough to score one at reasonable price, any GTX 1070, 1070ti, 1080, 1080ti or RTX card will be a huge upgrade (As long as it fits in your machine... Blower style cards are the best fit for Workstation towers)
On a side note while they do cost more, they are largely unaffected by the price gougers. You can look into getting a newer Quadro GPU. Any P4000 or higher, or any RTX Quadro will be a big upgrade.

Will an RTX 4060 low profile graphics card fit in this workstation?
Any hope a full height RTX 4060 Ti with 16Gb Vram would work? I don't quite understand what stops full height cards from fitting inside the case.
