T5500 motherboard
sorry for my English
I have trouble with the riser board that when I put this riser it won't run and the power button show orange color and number 234. After I take out the riser the computer still can run to window. May I know what is the problem with mother board or riser board? As the picture I taken from the motherboard I can see the hole on the leg of riser.

Dell Precision T5500 Memory Configuration The T5500 is a Single Processor system with 6 DIMM slots or a Dual Processor System with 9 DIMM slots if the optional expansion riser is installed. There are three memory channels, each managing two DIMM slots with one additional channel managing three DIMM slots if the riser is installed. The RISER DOES NOT WORK Without a processor and the CPUs must be exactly the same stepping and revision and part number.
You cant mix density and rank and speed and vendor and ecc vs non ecc.
