T5810 Disable Driver Signature Enforcement

Hi All,

I'm experiencing problems for installing a new driver and seems that "Driver Signature Enforcement" have to be disabled.  I read in some sources that F8 have to be pressed continuously when Windows is booting up until get the Advanced Boot Options menu, then select “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement” but doing that in my Tower 5810 nor get access to boot options. If I use F12 instead I got access but option  "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" does not appear.

Please, any one would help me?  Thank you!

Joan

Hi @Tacande ,

You have to press F8 right after POST screen (i.e. while Dell logo displayed) ended and before Windows 7 logo displayed. Sometimes people hitting the function key during POST or when the Windows logo is loading, and both of these actions won't bring you to the Windows Advanced Boot Option.

Hitting F12 during POST on Precision Workstation only leads you to Dell BIOS Boot Menu, not the Windows one.
