Upgrade dell precision i5 650 to i7 860
Hello guys,
can someone tell me if i can upgrade my dualcore i5 650 cpu to a quad core i7 860 cpu? Ive got an old dell precision T1500.
I already got a new graphiccard and 8 gigabyte of RAM, so only Cpu is bottlenecking right now.
Hope someone can tell me if it works.

Yes it does. According to the Dell T1500 spec sheet: "Quad-Core Intel® Core™ i7 and i5, Dual-Core Intel Core i5 and i3 processors" are supported.
A google search of "Dell Precision T1500 i7 860" also finds a number of suppliers, including eBay, selling such machines.
