Upgrade T7810 with GTX or RTX?
Hello
I need to upgrade my T7810 graphics card to GTX 1660 but I really want RTX 3050, I have no idea if both will fit or working on my setup, with 825W ps, and dual E5-2678 V3.
I need your advice if there another better option that both.

Given that the 7810 case is quite large I don't think it should be a problem. Over the years I put a GTX 1650S, a RTX 3070FE and currently an RTX 5070 into my Xeon 3620 which is much smaller/restricted than the 78s. It was tight but I managed to get them in. I swapped out the PSU of course. Can't recall if it is 750M or 850M.
So in short, I don't see why you can't take the plunge with a very high degree of confidence. Also for what it's worth I also have it running dual boot with Win 10 + 11 despite the CPU not being compliant in theory.

HI there, If I was you I would try upgrading to the RTX 3000 series cards with single 8 pin power connector, I been running two RTX 3060s after upgrading PSU since they max TPD of 170w or even the 5060 TI's 16gb that uses 180w. Here's a sceenshotwithsome of theximponents.
