I have several Dell laptops and I have been disappointed at how limited the color quality is. Windows show the panel to be 6-bit instead of 8-bit which really is limited.
I have two 13th gen machines and still the color is pathetic.
These are Precisions on Windows 11 Pro? What is the model? Do you have the advertised specs for the display option that was chosen?
I wonder if somehow the video-driver is incorrect or maybe you need a special .inf for that LCD Panel.

I'm guessing you are seeing that spec in Windows-11/Settings/Display ?
It might be from EDID (so accurate from that display-option's "budget" LCD panel).
But it also might just be the (generic) .INF and display drivers currently being used.
Someone (not me) would need to start collecting relevant info and specs for both laptops ... go from there and "work the problem" for each machine separately.
Or, you can just "live with in" and bad-month Dell in forums ... it's really up to you.
