1600n loses network connectivity after a while

This just started happening today; haven't updated firmware in months.

My printer wasn't responding, so I tried pinging it. No response. Turned it off and back on, and things worked fine again. A few hours later, it wouldn't respond again. No errors showing up on the LCD, it just says Ready. I've tried connecting over both wired and wireless connections, so it's not an issue with one particular PC.

I've switched cables, switches, and no luck.

Any ideas? Any way to look at log files?

I had already updated to 3.11T last fall or earlier this year. Printer OS Version 3.11T(7B) Engine Version 6.1.02 NIC's S/W Version V1.11(1600n) Am I running the latest and greatest?

My printer already uses DHCP, and is assigned an IP by my router. Do you mean that I should set up the 1600N with a static IP in its own configuration?

No, the way it works is that the 1600N is set for a dynamic address, but the router has a static IP attached to the MAC address for the printer, so when the printer requests an address, it always gets the same one. The IP that the router assigns is the one I have used to set up the printer on various PC's.

after upgrading to the latest firmware, i now have the same problem. the printer has a reserved(static) ip and is configured similarly. i have to reset the NIC from the menu to regain connection.
