1710n printer unable to install new firmware

Dear all,

First allow me to wish you all the best for this new year.

I have inherited a 1710n printer and would like to update the firmware, I have the P204 and would like to have the p205.

The thing is whenever I get on the "Update Print Server Firmware" page and select the firmware I get a "Send Failed () Lost communication" error. Do you think that there is some way around it? I tried 3 different web browsers but no luck.
