3100cn memory capacity

Question

I have installed the 256mb memory module on my 3100cn printer, I have also removed and reseated several times, however when I print the printer settings report the memory capacity is listed as 64MB.   Something seems a bit wrong.   Anyone else experienced this or have the additional memory installed and confirm that it shows memory capacity with the module.   Thanks

I've got a 256mb sodimm in my 3100cn, and when I print the test page, it shows 320mb.

I recently purchased a 3100cn. What memory do I need to use? Will any PC133 SoDimm Module work? Or, does the printer require proprietary memory? Thanks!
