3115cn Email Alert Settings

Question

Might anyone have instructions to set up the smtp portion for this printer. I do not understand any part of the manual. For example, do I enter the gateway address or the ip address? Where do I enter the smtp (smtp.frontiernet.net)? My smtp does not require a username or password. Or at least when I use outlook, I use only my pop account (which is different than my smtp account) username and password and I simply enter the above smtp. And it works. I am using XP pro and have wired the unit into my wireless router. Thanks.

I have the same problem i think.

My 3115cn was defect and dell send me a new printer.

Now I cannot scan to email anymore, i forgott how I configured the first the printer.

Could you please help me too.
