5100cn Black Fading

Question

I've been using my Dell 5100cn color laser for about 4 months now and in the last month, the black print has been slowly getting lighter and lighter. All colors are OK, just the black. Replaced the black toner and it didn't help. Tried a couple of the on-line solutions and waiting on a reply from Dell. Any help?

if it's only the black,  it could be a developer housing, or maybe a bad toner motor,  try going into the maintainence menu, and doing a dev cleaning on th eblack toner, if that doesn't help, call support at 1-877-459-7298  you will probably need a service call on the machine

Thanks! I already ran the dev cleaning on the black toner and it didn't make a difference so, I guess it's service call time!
