924 will not print - Hang at 99%
924 just started having a problem in that it will not print from my Inspiron notebook. The Dell print dialog box goes to 99% and hangs there. The printer itself has the "Printing" message on the display but nothing prints.
The 924 will scan a document- that works OK so I think the connection (USB) is OK. Things I'ved tried: power on-off of laptop and printer many times, uninstall and reinstall the 924 drivers from the CDROM many times, remove and reinstall the USB Printing device, stop and restart the Spool service.
Anyone have some suggestions? Jim

This topic is not going down a good path and probably needs to end.
If you are having the 99% print hang problem then I would suggest that you search this forum for some very good ideas of things to try. Most often it appears to be a driver/configuration/software problem in the host PC.
After you have tried all the suggestions, consider that it could be a hardware problem in the printer itself. This was the case with mine.
If the printer is still under warently, then work with Dell support and when all else fails, they will probably send you a replacement printer. Don't give up.
