A960 Searching for Scanning Applications

Question

I love the new A960 I just bought. But, when I try to open All-In-One Center, I get a lock-up while Searching for Scanning Applications. I turned off Security software and inserted disc in D.

I had the same problem with the A920 and go this fix for it. Maybe this will work for your model also. Good Luck!

Go to Start - Run - type in Regedit (this was with Windows XP - don't know about other OS's

Expand the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" node

Expand the "SOFTWARE" node

Expand the "AIO Printer A920" node

Click on the AIO node

On the right hand side, right click in the open space & choose "New Value #1, change it to ApplistSize" - leave the data at it's default.

Restart your computer - when it comes up, open AIO center & it works.
