attaching JPEG files to E mail

When I try to Scan a document selecting "E mail" on  my All In One 920 printer I get an error message on my Earthlink MAILBOX that reads:  "There is no application associated with this type file."  The same is true if I go to creative tasks and try to "E mail a document".

 

I can only send a document using Dell Image Expert.  Why can't I send a scanned document by selecting E mail under Scan or E mail a document under Creative Tasks?

 

Is there some application I need to install to send JPEG files?
