can I open my 924 printer?
yesterday I dropped a AA battery down in the shute where the paper goes. initially i could see the battery but now I don't -- it's somewhere inside in the bottom. meanwhile, i can't print!
is there a way to get inside without everything shifting and trashing the printer?
thanks. i'm not as dumb as this sounds . . . i don't think!

You could try, unplugging the the wall. Then remove the power brick for 60 seconds to reset any error mesages the printer is getting.
At this time carefully turn the printer upside down and shake it. This should hopefully dislodge the battery. I don't think a vacuum cleaner will help.
After you get the battery out, plug everything back in and try it.
