changing the ip address from dynamic to static (1700n)

please tell me how to change the dynamic ip address to static ip address on 1700n laser printer. the printer is connected on a router, thanks in advance!

there are two ways
1. use the web page (open internet explorer and type in the dynamic address), then go to the TCP/IP settings page (I belive it is under the print sever settings / TCPIP)
 
2.  use the install disk - use the IP setup utility on the front screen, it should detect it and you can change the ip address.
