Yes the Dell All in one centre. I have neve been able to resize it, so every time I scan the preview image is only a couple of inches wide and slightly longer in ratio of an A4
It is not a problem with the pictures/documents themsselves,
It is resizing the window you show above. I cannot find any way of resizing this window bigger or smaller. Because this window is so small, it is clumsy to try and select the area to be scanned for photographs as often, preview will not automatically select the correct area to scan and it has to be done manually. Only the minimise and close buttons work,
I'm using Windows Vista Home premium 32 bit if that helps.
Download the Vista 32-bit drivers or use the Dell 948 printer disk. Install the Vista drivers. You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on).

swansojb,
I no longer have a printer that uses the Dell All-In-One Center so please help along.
Open the Dell All-In-One Center. You'll see...
Click on scanning and copying, see more scan settings. See if there's a setting to change to make the image normal or 100%

swansojb,
I would try reinstalling the printer and see if that helps.
First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print job in the queue.
Disconnect the printer.
Download and run the patch(printer cleanup utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.
Restart your computer. Make sure the printer is removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal
Download the Vista 32-bit drivers or use the Dell 948 printer disk. Install the Vista drivers. You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on).
Links to the patch/drivers can be found at...
