Dell A940 and Vertical Streaks

I have a Dell All In One A940 printer and am getting some pretty nasty print outs. I'm trying to print a color jpeg and am getting some really nasty vertical lines/streaks on the entire picture.

I've run the clean nozzle thing a couple of times and am seeing no improvement in results.

Has anyone encountered this and if so, what steps did you take to correct the problem.
