Dell A960 "Cartridge Error 50c." Please help
Yesterday I have encountered an error on my Dell A960. The error that was posted on the printer says "Cartridge Error 50c."
I have tried the following:
-Reset the computer / printer
-Reinstall the software/driver
-Cleaned the cartridges
None of the methods mentioned above worked... I own a small home business and this printer is not even 1 year old. I need this printer to work properly and also need it up asap. If this is an on going / permanent problem, i would never use Dell ever again.

Tree Number: 114667 for error on front panel
Verify that the cartridges are Dell branded and havent been refilled ,run through the tree which will ask you to try the carts individually in different slots to see if the error follows it (probably just one cart causing the prob). In rare cases its the printer itself ...but it is covered by a one year advanced exchange in most cases (use the support.dell.com site to check) Use 1-800-822-8965 and drill down to where it asks for your express service code (on the tag under the cartridge cover ) for your printer

zuoguanggao,
Try reinstalling the printer using the instructions below.
First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print job in the queue.
Disconnect the printer.
Download and run the patch(printer cleanup utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.
Restart your computer. Make sure the printer is removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal
Download the Vista 32-bit drivers for Windows 7 32-bit or the Vista 64-bit drivers for Windows 7 64-bit. Install the Vista drivers in the Vista Compatibility mode You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on).
