Dell B2360dn stopped printing double sided

As the title sais, recently sending from mac or windows to a Dell B2360dn printer with the option "double sided" , does not print on both sides of paper (just uses two sheets of paper).

Weirdly enough, if you send from an ipad it continues printing double sided.

any ideas?

koyan,

You can click the link to download the online user manual for information.

Specify whether two‑sided (duplex) printing is set as the default for all print jobs.
Notes:
• “1 sided” is the factory default setting.
• You can set two‑sided printing from the software program.
For Windows users:
1 Click File > Print.
2 Click Properties, Preferences, Options, or Setup.

For Macintosh users:
1 Choose File > Print.
2 Adjust the settings from the print dialog and pop‑up menus.
Duplex Binding
Long Edge
Short Edge
Define the way two‑sided pages are bound and printed.
Notes:
• Long Edge is the factory default setting. Long Edge binds pages along their long
edge (left edge for portrait and top edge for landscape).
• Short Edge binds pages along their short edge (top edge for portrait and left
edge for landscape).

I have the same problem. I have originally set up the printer for a duplex printing and it was printing fine for a while. But suddenly it stopped printing duplex. I checked the setting and it still has 'duplex'. Any other suggestions?

Has anyone ever been able to solve this problem? Our printer is doing it, too. Everything says it is duplex, but it doesn't print duplex. It did when we first got it, but it hasn't for a while now.

My school printer is also suddenly experiencing this issue. Someone help! I've tried resetting to default setting.

I, too, have this issue.  I have 4 Dell S2830dn printers in my building set with the exact same configuration.  Currently we are using Print Logic's Printer Monitor Client to configure printer usage.

Suddenly one is no longer duplex printing.  I have changed the setting in Print Logic and through the printer's URL and none of the changes have made a difference.  My school is working from Windows 10 laptops and 5175 latitudes.  This appears to be an issue with either the Windows 10 upgrades (1709 OS Build 15xxx to 16299.248), Dell's hardware, or the printer software.  Dell needs to address this issue.  I am a building hardware technician for a junior high school with 800 computer devices and over 30 printers.

I too have had the following issue. However, I have managed to fix the issue. I went onto the Dell Printer Driver Configuration Utility and applied these options: https://gyazo.com/309851e7b66688553ceac1c776785ef8 Then hit File - Apply - Choose My Printer and then when printing it printed double sided.

I have the same problem today. After I change the paper type to plain, it's ok now. You can try it.
