Dell Document Hub - 67330005

Dell Document Hub - stopped working, gives an error that says: "Error - Unable to retrieve user information.  If error persists, go to dell.com/dochub for more information.  67330005

I have updated firmware.

I have factory reset printer.

I have deleted docuhub account and created a new one with a different e-mail.

Dell support, is worthless.

Internet has no reference to this error.  Anyone see anything similar?  Or have a possible solution?

Glad to hear I am not the only one with this problem.  Here are my details

  • Same error as you all get with 67330005
  • H625cdw multifunction printer
  • Can reach printer no problem from peer Windows 10 systems
  • Rebooting printer has no effect
  • Can reach Dell Dochub no problem from Windows 10

This feels very much like a problem on Dell's end.

The main reason I purchased this printer is because Dell Doc Hub is so great.  If Dell has now disabled that in some way, I will get rid of the printer and go elsewhere.

Just chiming in here that I'm also affected. We've been happily using our Dell H625cdw  for 5+ years using the Dell Document Hub all that time...and suddenly in the last week, the printer cannot connect to the Dell Document Hub (and when I try to set up a new user I get error 67330005 “unable to retrieve user information” )

All the evidence suggests that this is a problem on Dell's servers, not a problem with our individual setup (or the printers themselves)

Just adding myself to the thread hoping for answers. Same story here. I use the scan to email via docuhub all the time. Super annoying that it's not working. Mine was about the same timeframe as everyone else.

Exact same problem here.  I am able to scan using the app.  Never had an issue with this before.  Just started recently as OP has stated.

This is what I got from Dell support chat today:

  • Going back to the issue you have, we also received similar reports with Dell Document Hub, it seems we have some updates with Dell Document Hub that is why there is an issue with this application and at this time we do not have estimated time when it will be resolved.

  • So it is with the hub. We will just have to wait and see?

  • For the mean time you can use the Dell Document Hub apps that can be installed from Microsoft :

  • That is correct.

  • Thank you again for bringing this matter to us. Is there anything else that I can assist you with?

  • No thank you

Was on the phone with Dell Support for 30+ minutes and even though I wasn't able to get to the Pro Support, they did say that they have been getting a large amount of calls about this exact issue and that it has been escalated to their Engineering Team to find a fix for it, but they do not have an estimated time for when it will be fixed.

So hopefully it won't be too long, but for now the way that I have worked around this is that I setup scanning to be initiated at the computer through Dell Document Hub application or Dell Printer Hub so that you can scan still (even though it's much slower).

HATE DELL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Also, AS SOON AS the warranty ended the scanner put a line on the rear side of the copy or scan of a paper.
After that the Sheet feeder stopped working.
And, Now, this problem.

Thanks for the tip about using the app, had forgotten about that. It's functional at least though inconvenient compared to just working from the printer, but hey at least I can scan again

Hopefully they get the document hub linking issue sorted soon

Yep. I'm having the same issues with the Document Hub for at least a week.

I'm having this same problem, too.
@KyleAK, can you tell me how to scan from the Dell Document Hub on your computer? I'm logged into it on Chrome, but I don't see any scanning options.

I am having the exact same issue for about two weeks now.  Nothing new to say that other haven't said except I operate off a Macbook and my printer is the H825cdw.  I am not sure there is a can from computer feature for Mac, I'll have to check into that.

Hi All

I’ve had this issue for weeks. Last successful scan from printer was 9th Nov. After an hour today with out of warranty paid support call, I am told this is a dell server issue. They are working on the issue to restore service. Short term workaround was to delete and reinstall dell docuhub on my laptop and then initiate doc scans from my laptop and save them manually from where I can email them. Dell will contact me when the server issue is resolved.

Any word from Engineering team on the fix or at least a confirmation that it will be fixed soon?

@ZoeWolverineYou'll need to download the Dell Document Hub App or the Dell Printer Hub App.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am able to scan from the phone app and "share" the file to google drive (or email, or whatever). It's not ideal, but it gets the job done for now. Paul
