Dell E525w Color Multifunction Printer

But I have as well a question regarding the Dell E525w (multi function colour laser printer).

But before I want to describe the setting:

-- Printer is linked to my computer via wlan

-- Printer prints without problems

-- Copy function works without problems, including feeding the originals into the ADF

-- Scan function works when original is on the glass

but (here comes the problem)

-- ADF does not work with the scan function.

So, is there anything that I need to do specifically to make the ADF work for the scan function as well?

In case any additional information is required, I'm happy to provide it !

I'd scanned with the ADF with no issue.

After placing the document on the ADF, push the scan button (the blue button in the picture), the following scan screen appeared.  I scanned to USB without any problem.  Have not tried the other 2 options though.

I have exactly the same issue... the ADF works when I scan to USB, but not to the Computer... the printer is networked via Ethernet.  Considering no response to you since July I'm not expecting much help. :(

The Scan-to-Computer feature works without problem so far.  Did not try Scan-to-Email though.

The scan function works fine. The problem is the ADF doesn't function when doing a scan to computer.  It does work in other cases, so I think it must be a setting rather than a hardware fault.

I have the same problem.  Scan to computer does not use the ADF like scan to USB.  This has to be a firmware issue.  This functionality was one of the main reasons I recently purchased this printer.

Same problem.  ADF doesn't work when scanning to computer.  

If I use the Dell Printer Hub software, the ADF works. In other words, I have to place the document in the ADF, then go to my computer and use the Dell Printer Hub to start the scan.  There is an option in that software to tell the scanner to use the ADF.
