A little more info would be helpful but here is a stab...

1) Make sure when you insert envelope in the MP tray on the printer that you select com 10 (or free size)(paper size) and envelope (paper type) on the display.

2) When you print envelopes from the computer on the paper tray tab choose MP Tray and set the type to evnelope. Then on the paper tab choose the size of env you are printing.

Reply back with more info and we'll go from there!

Thanks for the reply,

The options are set for envelope in Microsoft word  and display on the printer as MPF envelope 10
but shows a yellow Exclamation on the side.

The printer acts as if it does not recognize any paper in the MPF tray.
I have even tried full sheet of paper to see if the sensors were maybe not triggering due to orientation.

I'm sure you've found the solution by now- but just for future reference, I had the same problem and the difficulty is basically a design flaw. The paper type should always be set to Plain 1, and then the size of your envelope (DL, Envelope 10, or whatever) should be selected in Paper size.
