download driver for 968w AIO printer for a Mac??

Question

Can anyone help me?  I love my printer but now have a mac cuz I was tired of virus threats plus other reasons but can't seem to find the means to connect the printer to my Imac...thanks for any advise..nancy

Nancy,

Dell does not have Mac drivers for your Dell 968w Printer. Your Dell Printer was made for Dell by Lexmark, so you might be able to find a similar printer and try the Mac drivers for it. It may or may not work.

You can also try...

Gutenprint for Mac OS X this may or may not work.

If you are using Mac OS X 10.6 you will already have most of the Gutenprint drivers installed.

Dell does not have a Mac driver but the Lexmark 9500 Series driver works.

I documented the process i used to get wireless printing working for me.

Bropastor, Try going to Lexmarks website. The Lexmark 9500 driver should work. Since Lexmark got out of the printer business, not sure if you'll find a driver that will work. The Lexmark 9500 driver worked for the older versions of the Mac Operating systems. Rick
