DSL and printer A940 problems HELP
Hi,
I recently installed SBC DSL. I have the all in one printer A940.
My problem is when I'm on-line and the phone rings I pick it up and there is a fax noise but I can also hear my caller. Also, a small screen comes up on the computer stating that a fax is coming in. I've talked to Dell and SBC. Dell says it is the filters (which I changed still did not work) SBC said I might have to get a seperate line for the printer. The reason for getting DSL was not to incur the expense of getting a new line.
No one seems to really know what is going on. Is there anyone out there that could give me some feedback. Appreciate any help.
