Error Message Functional address 0x68641b91 caused a protection fault
I have a OKI C5500 printer that until recently has worked fine. I am
running a Dell Inspiron 530s with Windows XP.
The printer when first installed worked without problems. Then without changing anything, it stopped working. Under the "Printers and Faxes" it shows the printer is installed but when I click on properties I get the following error: Function address 0x68641b91 caused a protection fault. (exception code 0xc0000094).
I have 2 Dell notebooks connected to the printer by a network and neither of these is experiencing any problems. The 530s is connected to the printer by the same network.
Can anyone help me please!

Assuming you are using the latest OKI drivers..... I Google'd this error and many seem to be having the same problem. The general consensus seems to be that it's a Microsoft problem. From my own experience, if you call their help desk, they will get your CC# before they'll talk to you. But if it turns out the problem is theirs after all, you're not billed.
If you do call them, I would have all your facts written down and organized. The call will go that much better for you.
OBTW..... I see the admin removed it already, but you really don't want to place your email on any forum as many are web-searchable..... and you just gave your email out to the world. Happy Spam !!
