Help! V313w strange background images
I have only had the printer for a few weeks.
Recently, every time I print anything I get random boxes of varying shades of grey, about 1 & 1/2" square.
Any idea how I can get rid of them?
Thanks

I am having the same issue.
This is my work printer and it is critical that this question be addressed ASAP.
I already tried cleaning the printer head twice, and ran just about every function in the maintenance category and still have this problem.
(Edit: Just called customer support and they are having to replace my printer due to this issue. Thank you warranty!)

Hi Britishbadger
My name is Vikram and I work for Social Media and Community Team at Dell. I will suggest you to do the following steps and see if this fixes the issue. Please note that your address book will get deleted by performing the steps mentioned below:-
Please power off the printer and remove the print head and all the cables connected to the printer as well, now press the power button for 10-15 seconds to remove any static charge in the printer. Please clean the print head with a lint freee cloth. Once done, please press and hold the start and the cancel button and power on the printer. It would ask you to insert the print head. Please insert it and print a test page from Dell printer home to see if it print fine.
If the issue does not gets resolved, please try using alternate ink cartridges to see if the issue gets fixed,
Please re[ly back with the results.
Glad to assist you!
Thanks and regards
