How to print envelopes on 3000cn

Question

I don't understand how to print envelopes on the 3000cn. From Prublisher I have selected it to print envelopes and have put them in the manual paper feed. The program thinks it has printed, but the printer just keeps saying load envelopes. Totally confused. The old HP you just load and they print.

You have to designate the MPF tray for envelopes on the printer menu or through the software for the printer-'Status Monitor Console'.

Hi Mickey  -   I trust Jakpro's advice about the printer settings was helpful and you've got that part sorted out.   Not to rain on your parade, but there is another reality about these printers.  They wrinkle envelopes very badly.  I have never succeeded in solving this problem.  I check this forum often hoping someone will come up with a solution.  None, so far, to my knowledge.   In my case, I use my inkjet printer to print envelopes.  That works well for me.

Try using Columbian brand envelope, Seville not bad too. If you are printing smaller envelop, always try feeding it in landscape orientation .it helps alot. Try that and report the result here.
