for the 1355cn.Which software do I need to use in order to install the network scanner? I have the printer running with the suggested MFP

I had to reinstall my laptop lately and cannot get the scanner to be recognised. Which software do I need to use in order to install the network scanner? I have the printer running with the suggested MFP software but Win 8.1 does not recognise / find the scanner?

could you also please advise where can I get a copy of the nuance paperport bundled software that came with the printer? I am not able to find or download a copy of it on the dell website anymore.
