Paper Jam in a Dell 5310n Printer

I keep getting a paper jam in my Dell 5310n printer, and it is constantly happening, one day while I was clearing a paper jam, I realized what was causing the paper jams.  It is the red roller in the printer, it has a thread that melted off or something that causes the paper to get jammed up. 

I was wondering if that individual part can be replaced or if the whole printer can be replaced
